There’s no shortage of tech talent in and around Boston, a fact that shines through the amazing startup ecosystem and the pillar tech companies that call the city home. And that’s why it’s such an honor to be recognized – once again – as a finalist in the Mass Tech Leadership Awards.
Earlier this week during a reception at PTC – one of those pillar companies that has helped Boston earn its reputation – MassTLC announced Elsen as a finalist in the “Digital Transformation in Finance and Insurance” category, along with four other companies.
This is the second time Elsen has been honored on the finalist podium by MassTLC in recent years. We ultimately took home the win in the “Innovative Tech of the Year: Financial” category in 2017.
As an organization that’s been bestowing these awards for 22 years, MassTLC has evolved with the times, and so have its award categories. Many of the categories this year are new and revolve around digital transformation, not just innovation, which put Elsen back in the mix. After launching the Elsen nPlatform in the spring of 2017 and announcing that Thomson Reuters (now Refinitiv) would be selling the first commercial product built on Elsen nPlatform, being recognized by MassTLC for our innovation was an excellent way to end the year.
Now, just as MassTLC is looking beyond innovative ideas and focusing on how technology is powering digital transformation in industries like financial services, Elsen has the track record to match. Earlier this year, we announced that Franklin Templeton had chosen the Elsen nPlatform to provide its research and technology groups with efficient and scalable access to financial data. And in the early spring, Fidelity Investments publicly revealed that it was working with Elsen through the inaugural MassChallenge FinTech cohort.
As every industry undergoes digital transformation, Elsen is prepared to help companies in financial services by providing them with a solution to better manage, access and use data to make investment decisions. Elsen’s work with some of the most respected names in finance, along with this recognition from MassTLC, provide the latest validation of the transformative impact of the Elsen nPlatform.
Winners of the Mass Tech Leadership Awards will be announced on November 6, during a celebration at Fenway Park – we wish all the other finalists good luck!
