Continuing Elsen’s Global Expansion – Hello Europe!

Greetings from London! It’s been a few short months since we introduced Elsen nPlatform and Thomson Reuters launched the first commercially available application built on it – Thomson Reuters QA Point Powered by Elsen. We’re hitting another big milestone this week with our continued support of Thomson Reuters’ global rollout of QA Point, and the Elsen team is across the pond for the European launch.

It’s been a quick ride to get here – much quicker than anyone expected.

Thanks to such great feedback and demand after the introduction of QA Point in North America in April, Thomson Reuters decided to expedite the global rollout to get it to more customers, more quickly. We supported their Asian launch in May and are now supporting the rollout to asset and portfolio managers in Europe too.

Thomson Reuters QA Point offers the functionality and value that Thomson Reuters’ asset and investment management clients need. It is a cloud-based application for backtesting systematic investment models that allows professional investors to introduce cutting edge quantitative research and analytics to fund management. With Thomson Reuters QA Point, you don't need to be a highly skilled developer or 'quant' to take advantage of advanced quantitative investment strategies and data science. It enables investment professionals to drastically cut the time it takes to test strategies. They can accomplish a task in minutes that previously took days or even weeks.

The blazing fast global rollout of Thomson Reuters QA Point seems appropriate given the blazing fast speed of the Elsen nPlatform that powers it. It’s been a rewarding experience working with investment professionals around the world, and we’re looking forward to connecting with others across Europe.

Jane is Elsen’s chief storyteller and customer advocate, and also quarterbacks the company’s go-to-market strategy.

Prior to Elsen, Jane held CMO roles at early stage FinTech startups as well as leadership positions at MasterCard Worldwide, Standard Insurance, and American Express.

What Jane likes most about Elsen is the fantastic culture and the smart people she gets to work with. Beyond Elsen, Jane is an avid skier, golf lover, and a competitive equestrian. If you meet her, the first thing you’ll notice is that her personality is much larger than her petite stature.

Jane holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. She was also a Washington Campus Fellow for Public Policy.
