Last Week at Village Capital’s Fintech Workshop in San Francisco

Posted in Insights

Last week, we had the opportunity to visit San Francisco to participate in Village Capital’s fintech workshop. Elsen is one of only 12 members selected to the FinTech US 2018 program, which recognizes the most promising startups that are harnessing financial data to make financial services more accessible, affordable, and transparent.

Elsen is incredibly fortunate to be among those companies chosen to Village Capital’s inaugural FinTech US 2018, sponsored by BNY Mellon, as it has already given us many opportunities to hear from other successful entrepreneurs, as well as sit down with our peers across the fintech landscape and collectively, help solve some of the biggest challenges today around harnessing financial data. This latest Village Capital fintech workshop, co-facilitated by MiddleGame Ventures, is the second of a three-part fintech workshop series. The four-day event (October 9-12) was chock-full of activities, networking opportunities and presentations by entrepreneurs and fintech thought leaders. We covered various aspects related to improving our use of financial data to strengthen the financial services industry. All-in-all, the Elsen team had an excellent time catching up with familiar faces, as well as forming new relationships with potential partners, investors, customers and other influential fintech leaders.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone in New York, November 13-16 for Village Capital’s third and final fintech workshop. Visit to learn more about Village Capital and its fintech program and workshops.

Our team is looking forward to seeing everyone in NYC!
