VentureFizz Names Elsen Co-Founders to List of Notable Northeastern Alumni

The slideshow titled 15 Notable Entrepreneurs & Investors From Northeastern University recognizes alumni that have gone onto illustrious careers as either entrepreneurs or investors themselves in the Boston tech scene.

VentureFizz selected the 15 leaders from a multitude of Northeastern alumni in the local tech community and singled out the Elsen Founders for their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise, and dedication and contributions to accelerating the FinTech community and Boston’s startup/tech scene.

In addition to running Elsen, Zac is a passionate member of the Boston tech community. A Northeastern University grad, he is active with his alma mater’s mentoring and co-op programs and remains closely involved with the school’s student-led venture accelerator, IDEA, where Elsen got its start. In fact, it was through Zac speaking to a class at Northeastern that Elsen found its current intern, Aoife Manley. Thank you, Zac!

IDEA fosters the development of entrepreneurs in the Northeastern community through the educational experience of developing a business from concept to launch. Visit to learn more.

Zac and Ryan are in excellent company on this year’s list, which also includes Richard Egan and Roger Marino, co-founders of EMC (later acquired by Dell); and Marc Raibert, founder and CEO of Boston Dynamics (later acquired by SoftBank); among many other successful leaders.

Together, this accomplished group of Northeastern alumni is driving Boston startup/tech community and we could not be prouder of Zac and Ryan’s achievements.
